The breathtaking Abbey of Thoronet we visited in 2015, a C12th-C13th Cistercian Abbey near Brignoles. 

A table made for a very big room in London.  It was designed to be a layout table for exhibitions and to seat eighteen for dinner.  We found the simplest form for a semi-industial space and a design that could be assembled in situ.  The table has nine components, plus a handful of butterfly shaped cleats that hold the top together.
